The student
Research, reflect, write, ask questions, and make choices. Your experiences and words remain your own.
Our approach
Work directly with Jen to understand your priorities, organize the application work, and make thoughtful decisions along the way.
The working relationship
Jen begins with the student’s interests, strengths, questions, and school experience, along with the family’s practical priorities.
We identify the decisions and materials ahead, agree on what support is useful, and organize the work around actual deadlines.
Students research, reflect, and write. Jen provides specific feedback and helps keep the process coherent and manageable.
From interviews to final decisions, we make room for questions, compare meaningful differences, and keep the student’s priorities in view.
Shared expectations
Research, reflect, write, ask questions, and make choices. Your experiences and words remain your own.
Ask useful questions, offer honest feedback, explain options, and help organize an agreed scope of work.
Share practical considerations, support the student’s ownership, and help keep communication clear.
For graduate applicants, the working relationship is directly with the applicant. Family involvement follows the applicant’s preferences. We complement school-based advising and program guidance; we do not replace an institution’s requirements or authority.
