Application bootcamp

Give a complicated application a clear next step.

Focused work with Jen for students who need structure and momentum in their applications.

What the work is about

Make meaningful progress, one piece at a time.

A focused intensive starts by looking at what is already finished, what needs attention, and which decisions are holding up the rest. Together, we build a practical sequence for the application work that matters most now.

Who this is for

Students who have application work ahead and would benefit from dedicated working time, clear priorities, and specific feedback. Scope is agreed around the student’s starting point and deadlines.

What we can work on

  • A review of the current college list and upcoming deadlines
  • An application inventory to identify gaps and set priorities
  • Guidance on presenting activities, responsibilities, and interests clearly
  • Personal statement planning or revision, depending on the starting point
  • A readiness review and a written view of what remains to be done

How we approach it

Before the work

Gather prompts, existing drafts, the current college list, and known deadlines.

During the work

Use focused meetings and individual writing time to make progress on agreed priorities.

After the work

Leave with a clear account of completed work and next steps, including supplements that still need attention.

Your work stays yours.

The student completes the application and writes the essays. The intensive provides structure and feedback. The exact schedule and scope are confirmed individually; completion of every application or supplement is not assumed.

Will this cover all of my supplemental essays?

That depends on the number of applications, the work already completed, and the scope we agree on. Supplements are discussed at the outset so expectations are clear.
